Only Today bestaat uit twee personen die sinds 2005 met elkaar muziek maken. Ze brengen een programma van elektronische en akoestische muziekinstrumenten. Van mondharpen tot synthesizers, van djemb\u00e9 tot drumcomputer en effectprocessors. Vaste nummers en improvisaties gericht op het publiek en de ambiance. Het gebeurt Only Today.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only Today exists of two persons who make music together since 2005. They present a program with electronic and acoustic musical instruments. From jews harps to synthesizers and from djemb\u00e9 to drum machines and effects processors. Fixed repetoire and improvisations tailored at the audience and ambiance. It happens Only Today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We schetsen muzikale landschappen.<\/em><\/strong> Om in te lopen, in te verstillen en in te dansen. Veel van de instrumenten die we gebruiken in onze optredens hebben een oude oorsprong, andere behoren tot de meest innovatieve die vandaag de dag beschikbaar zijn. Ze komen van over de hele wereld en zijn in verschillende culturen ontstaan. We zoeken spelenderwijs naar wat deze instrumenten gemeen hebben: het vermogen om contact te maken en om in beweging te brengen als bron van geluid en schoonheid.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/em><\/strong>We create musical landscapes. To walk, to still, to dance.
Many of the instruments that we use in our performances have ancient origins, whereas others are among the newest and innovative now available. They come from all over the world and arise from a mixture of cultures. We playfully search for what these instruments have in commen: the ability to connect and bring in motion as a source of sound and beauty.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
